Booking.com has designated Lodgify a Premier Connectivity Partner for 2026, putting the property management and channel manager platform in the top tier of its API partner program. For hosts and managers already running their listings through Lodgify, the practical upshot is priority access to new Booking.com features as they roll out and a dedicated support line when sync issues arise, rather than general backlisting.

What the tier actually gates

Booking.com ranks the software vendors that connect to its property and reservation APIs into tiers based on how reliably their systems handle availability, rate and booking data, and how much of Booking.com's feature set they support. Vendors in the premier tier typically get earlier access to new API endpoints, better technical account support, and inclusion in Booking.com's own partner directory, which some operators use when choosing a channel manager. The tier is Booking.com's own internal classification; the company has not published the criteria or scoring behind it, so it functions as a badge rather than an independently verified benchmark.

Why connectivity quality matters more than it used to

Channel managers live or die on how cleanly they push rate and availability changes out to OTAs in real time. A lag or a dropped update can mean a double-booked night or a rate that is stale by the time a guest sees it, and those failures tend to surface during peak booking windows rather than quiet ones. Operators juggling Booking.com alongside Airbnb and Vrbo already rely on their software vendor to catch these problems before they become a guest complaint, which is part of why more property managers have been consolidating onto unified cloud systems instead of stitching together separate tools.

What this changes for operators on Monday morning

Nothing changes automatically in existing Lodgify accounts. The designation affects how quickly Booking.com-side features reach the platform and how support tickets get routed, not current pricing, listing visibility, or ranking on Booking.com's search results. Operators evaluating channel managers for 2026 now have one more data point to weigh alongside comparisons of channel manager options, though partner tiers from any OTA are a claim about engineering reliability, not a guarantee of it, and are worth testing against a vendor's actual sync performance before switching.
